So, things are still pretty awesome over here. On Saturday night I went to Jana's birthday party with Cleo and Dominic. It was really really fun. I didn't know many people there, but at least Tizi and the Johannas were there. And Jana and Cleo and Dominic too of course. I had a really good time. I drank a little too much, but that just made it all the more fun. I was there until 3 and woke up the next morning at 10 which probably means that I should have taken a nap on Sunday afternoon, but instead I went with Adrianna and a whole bunch of other people from my class to see Memoirs of a Geisha. I'd seen it before, and it was just as awesome the second time. So, I didn't take a nap on Sunday which means I did on Monday afternoon after school which also means that I woke up and had missed my bus to flute lessons. Luckily Adrianna's brother was home and he quick drove me there. I was late, but that was okay, and the lesson was awesome as usual. Yesterday wasn't such a good day. I was late to class and Adrianna's dad got mad at me because I'm in my room too much. I did go to this theater class with Adrianna though, and that was really fun. And I made brownies and they were really good. Today was pretty much awesome. I only had 6 periods instead of 8 and we had music and we got grades for this half year, and I got a 1. That was really good because the only other classes that I have 1's in are my two English classes and then I have a 2 in Ethics and in all the rest of my classes I have a 3 or 4. Tomorrow will be awesome because my first class is 12th grade English plus I have choir and orchestra. And then Friday we get to go see a movie for basically the whole day and then it's the weekend. Life is pretty good.

I'm finally updating this. I think that I'm going to try and update it regularly now. Maybe no one reads it anyway, but that's okay.

A lot of stuff has happened since I last wrote on this thing. I'm still in Germany just so you know, and from September to December I pretty much did nothing. I had no life and no friends. A would go to school and not talk to anyone, and then come home and do my homework and go to bed. It wasn't very fun. (I don't want to be all pessimistic. It wasn't completely not fun. There were times when I had a good time, but for the most part it was pretty boring.)

One of the best times was that in October we took a family vacation to Luxembourg, Paris, and Amsterdam over fall break. That was really fun. We went to the Louvre (twice), and the top of the Eiffel tower, and the Moulin Rouge, and a whole bunch of other places in Paris, and in Amsterdam we went to the Anne Frank House and the Van Gough Museum and a whole bunch of other places too. In Luxembourg we just visited some friends, but it was still one of the best parts of the trip.

Then in November I started getting really tired of not having any friends, and I think that I was a little depressed because I was crying all the time, so I decided to come home over Christmas break. Then, the day before I left to come home I made a friend. That didn't make me want to come home any less though, it just made everything so much better.

So, I came home over Christmas break and it was really really really fun. I saw almost everyone I wanted to. My mom was home too, so I spent Christmas with her. Then she left and went back to Germany and I stayed and it was still super fun and awesome. I helped with the set for the play at the high school, and I saw about a million movies. Plus I got to spend New Years Eve with my friends which was really fun too.

When I came back we went on another family vacation to some Bach places. We went to Eisenach, where Bach was born, and Leipzig, where he was the choir director at the Thomas Kirche. We also went to the concentration camp Buchenwald. Being there and seeing all of the stuff they used to torture and kill people made me want to throw up. The day we went it was freezing cold. There was snow on the ground and I was wearing two coats and was still cold. It was scary walking around the camp and thinking about how people had walked exactly where I was walking in the exact same weather except that they didn't have good clothes or shoes and they were starving and exhausted. I don't really know what else to say about Buchenwald. It was just pretty sad thinking about everything that happened there.

School started for me the day after we got back from our trip. That was two weeks ago on Monday. Addy and Tom didn't go to school that week because they were leaving that Saturday. So far school and basically life has been so much better since school started after Christmas break.

The first week of school after break was pretty good. The firrst Tuesday after break was my friend Jana's 18th birthday, so on Monday night She, her friends Cleo and Dominic, and I went to a jazz bar to celebrate at midnight. That was fun even though it might not have been the best idea since there was school the next day.

Last Saturday my family left and went back to the U.S. That meant that I moved. Now I live with this girl named Adrianna from my class. I really like it here. I have my own room and Adrianna's mom is a super good cook. I'm not really feeling homesick so that's good. I'm having a really good time.

This week at school was really fun too. I brought back a whole bunch of food from the U.S. and we watched a movie and ate it in my 12th grade English class. That was really fun, and it was so good eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and oreos.

Everything seems to be working out here. School is fun most of the time, I have a piano teacher who is pretty cool, I'm in the choir and orchestra at school which is really fun, I have this super awesome flute teacher who is in 13th grade at my school, and I actually have plans for this weekend.

So, that's about it for now. Okay, that's all.

Hello to anyone who actually reads this
I'm still in Germany. School started on September 5th and it's really fun. I have a million classes. I actually have a music class, and I haven't had one of those since 6th grade. Actually, I haven't had a real music class ever. In my two English classes I am learning more grammar than I would ever learn at home. My P.E. teacher used to play for the German national basketball team. That's sort of cool. In chemsestry we actually do things like mix chemicals. I've never done that before though, so I have no idea what I'm doing in there. Math is awesome as usual. My birthday was on the 11th. I had a pretty good time. We went and ate ice cream at this awesome Italian ice cream place. I got this one scarf that I really wanted. We played an awesome card game. And my friend from German class came over. All in all it was a pretty good day. My sunday school class went on a retreat last weekend. I really wish I could have been there. I also wish that I could be home to help with and see the play. And the marching band show. Whatever I guess. Hey, since it's the 20th that means that I have been here for exactly 2 months which means that I have about 6 months and 27 days until I come home for spring break. I guess it's not that long. The weeks go fast here. I've never done this before, but I guess I'll do it because it sounds interesting.
Stealing this from Joyce

1. Reply with your name and I will write something random about you.

2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I will pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.

4. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.

5. I will tell you my first memory of you.

6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.

7. I'll then ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

Hello. I'm in Germany now. I've been here for about two and a half weeks. It's pretty fun living here, but of course I miss everyone at home. I've been taking a lot of walks in the woods here and eating the really good Italian ice cream. That's all for now I guess. I'll write some more stuff later.

Hello. I haven't writen on here for about 2 months, so I decided that maybe I should start again. Alot of stuff has happened since I last wrote. The end of school was really good, but the seniors graduating was not. Except for them it was I guess. I didn't fail German, and I don't have to go back to that college for another class for 2 years if I don't want to. I started summer school and it's almost already done. I hate getting up at six every morning, but the class is sort of fun. Summer theater started and it is almost over too. It is sometimes sort of boring, but I think that it is pretty fun. We are going to work camp next week and right before that is the summer theater performances which will be fun. I leave for Germany in 33 days. I don't want to leave before the summer is over, but I guess I don't really have a choice. That is about all that is happening right now.
